Material Inventory Report
Inventory level reporting is now possible for each component, ensuring full transparency of available stock. The key business requirement is to keep track of EOL components, last-time buys, critical ICs that require close monitoring, open orders, and other details.
The newly developed Material Report provides an overview of vital supply information from both previous and current quarters.
Users now have transparency into the inventory supplied by EMS suppliers for their products.
The key information provided includes:
- Planned incoming material (including open orders)
- Current stock quantity, end of the previous quarter and current inventory level.
- Current safety stock (buffer stock)
- Minimum order quantities.
- EMS supplier’s lead time.
The objective of this report is to validate that EMS suppliers have adequately planned their inventory to meet demands, while also identifying any shortages in stock that could potentially disrupt the supply chain.
